Welcome to our Digital Commercial Platform team, part of Group IT
Our global Group IT function of +200 employees deliver business critical applications and infrastructure to manage the full value chain from sales to manufacturing and distribution for the GN Group and several of our subsidiaries (GN Group cover the global scope of GN Hearing and GN Audio).
As our new Technical Solution Owner for CPQ at our Digital Commercial Platforms for GN Audio, you will be based at our global HQ, located in Ballerup Denmark – and report to Manager, Jesper Brændgaard Jensen.
You will join a team of 30 technical, passionate, and supportive colleagues, incl. Solution Architects, Developers and Scrum Masters located in the US, Ukraine, and Poland. Together, we develop high-quality, user-friendly partner portals, CRM, CPQ, web and e-commerce solutions for our internal customers in our sales and marketing departments.
Generate high quality solutions
As our new Technical Solution Owner for our CPQ (Customized Price Quotes) system for our whole business unit, GN Audio.
You are overall responsible for continuously improving the CPQ platform, which is based on SAP. We keep evolving the system in terms of functionalities, users, and business criticality. Thus, you will coordinate with the CPQ Solution Manager in the communication, prioritization and technical alignment between the organization and our external partner.
In addition, you are responsible for the quality and performance of the platform, the technical roadmap, and ensure we, and our partner, have the right technical competencies to maintain and develop the platform over time.
This entails driving the technical agenda for the CPQ solution together with your colleagues. More specifically, you will:
Manage the technical agenda for the CPQ GN Audio and be part of implementing the overall digital agenda for the organization
Collaborate with our technical partner ensuring that we meet the needed technical and organizational requirements in a way that optimizes the system performance, business processes, and technical coherence in the best way possible
Manage the release process together with our partner and super users, making sure the quality of the releases meets customer demands, as well as, technical and non-functional requirements
Deliver great solutions according to our road map and stay on top of the overall application roadmap
Be part of driving the commercial development of our platform(s)
Handling communication around major technical incidents, driving the resolution with both our partner and the platform vendor (if applicable).
Maintain a close dialogue with the owners of upstream and downstream platforms like Microsoft D365 CRM, Microsoft D365 F&O, BizTalk, Data Warehouse, etc.
Bring insights into platform health and technical themes into the Application Advisory Board

We imagine that you are team oriented and like to contribute and co-operate with a team. You are curious towards new technology, frameworks and the digital space as whole - with a desire to learn and grow both professionally and personally. In addition, you are result-orientated and take ownership of your solutions.
We are open for your level of experience with CPQ systems. We do, however, consider it to be a clear advantage, if you have experience/knowledge of (SAP) CPQ, but this is not a prerequisite for the position.
Moreover, we imagine that you have:
Relevant experience from a similar role owning business critical, global platforms, whereby you have a deep understanding of IT an technical platforms, continuous deliveries, integrations and business processes – preferably from a complex organization with an international presence
A relevant educational background at a bachelor or master’s level – perhaps within IT, engineering or other technical fields
The ability to listen to others, can challenge your colleagues in a constructive way and are able to transform our way of working
The ability to bridge the organization and IT and have well-developed stakeholder management and communicative abilities
Change management experience is a clear advantage
Experience with following standardized processes for development and tests
Can manage quality and performance metrics on business critical, global platforms
A well-developed understanding of agile methods and processes
